Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Welcome Team Attendant at the Quincy Kroc Center. This part-time role faces members and guests at the welcome desk, helping with memberships, program information, and event support to ensure a warm, efficient experience.

You will handle CRM records, assist with admissions and transactions, and collaborate with staff to maintain a friendly, organized front desk environment. Requires 18+ and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles preferred.
• Friendly, professional communication in person and over the phone.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and handle cash responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and address questions or concerns professionally.
• Promote and explain memberships and services, connecting people to programs.
• Enter and maintain records in CRM, including memberships and transactions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Kroc Center programs and events.
• Answer phone calls promptly and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Serve as Event Host for rentals and special events, assisting with room setup and A/V needs.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and daily reconciliations.
• Maintain a clean and professional welcome desk area.
• Uphold confidentiality and a positive work atmosphere.
