Job summary

Village Suites Bay Harbor is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, manage reservations, and provide exceptional service at our northern Michigan property. You will be the first friendly face guests meet, handling check-ins/outs, answering inquiries, and ensuring a secure, welcoming environment.

Candidates should have strong communication and computer skills, a professional appearance, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays. Training is offered for those new to hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in customer service or guest services is welcomed; training provided for newcomers.

Responsibilities

• Take room reservations and assist guests at arrival and departure.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for guests and owners.
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance on shift.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Utilize computer systems to manage bookings and guest requests.
• Collaborate with team to resolve guest issues promptly.

Job Description:

Front Desk Agents are an integral part of the hospitality industry. The front desk is the first impression guests will experience about our property, our Front Desk Agents are therefore, the ambassadors of Bay Harbor.

Premium pay based on experience:Full-time and Part-time Available

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication
• Exhibit proper etiquette on the phone and in person
• Have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Take room reservations, assist all guests upon arrival and departure
• Provide a safe and secure environment for guests and owners
• Interpersonal skills for interacting with guests for problem solving
• Maintain clean and professional appearance
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Must have proficient computer skills

Experience:
