Job summary

Inn at Bay Harbor is seeking a Front Desk Lead to coordinate front office activities, resolve guest issues, and maintain brand standards. You will lead a cohesive team focused on delivering exceptional service for our shoreline resort. The role emphasizes proactivity, responsiveness, and a caring approach.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of front desk or guest service experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• POS software experience and Microsoft Office familiarity required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
• Develop knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, rates, amenities, and selling strategies.
• Take reservation requests efficiently.
• Answer front desk phone in accordance with etiquette.
• Block rooms and handle special requests.
• Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures.
• Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
• Know emergency and security procedures
• Assist in training of new hires and current associates regularly
• Ensure front desk is adequately staffed at all times which may require covering call offs
