Meridian Health Services in Ossian, IN is seeking a dedicated Support Staff Technician for our Primary Care Office. This full-time front-desk role supports daily operations, assists patients, and helps keep the clinic running smoothly, Monday through Friday, 7am–5pm.

You will join a mission-driven team dedicated to expanding access to whole-person healthcare in underserved communities, with opportunities for professional development and licensure support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of office or administrative experience (medical setting preferred).
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Professionalism, discretion, and a patient-centered mindset.
• A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional communication with patients, staff, and the public.
• Answer calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, and route messages.
• Collect co-pays and process payments.
• Manage medical records, releases of information, and new patient charts.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
• Check in patients in NextGen.
• Travel up to 30% for Coverage and Training.
