Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Patriot Place, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking a part-time Front Desk associate to join our team. You will handle guest registration, reservations, and provide information about the hotel and local area.

Responsibilities include checking in/out guests, delivering exceptional service, coordinating with Housekeeping, and maintaining knowledge of policies, rates, and events. Must be willing to work a 7-day rotation including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• One year of related hotel experience.
• Prior Hilton brand experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to deal with difficult guests.
• Familiarity with local area for directions and local guidance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to learn and operate a property management system.
• Willingness to work a 7-day rotational schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate the front desk and assist guests with inquiries during pre-arrival, registration, stay, checkout, and post-departure.
• Provide exceptional guest service.
• Efficiently manage front desk operations to ensure timely check-in and check-out.
• Warmly and professionally welcome all guests.
• Process guest check-in: confirm reservations, assign rooms.
• Handle requests with professionalism, tact, and courtesy; act with urgency.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding service and/or accommodations.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, rates, discounts, offers and events.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness and guest requests.
• Maintain lobby and shared areas neat and orderly.
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards; maintain strict key controls.
• Perform other related duties across departments as assigned.
