Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent / Guest Services Agent to join our hotel team. You will deliver exceptional guest service through check-in, stay, and check-out experiences, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities include processing reservations, managing payments, upselling opportunities, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, maintaining front desk records, and supporting guest inquiries about local attractions.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel PMS.
• Experience handling cash and transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude during check-in and check-out.
• Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations according to standards.
• Maintain knowledge of room types, rates, packages, and promotions.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Accurately collect payments, post charges, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Promote and enroll guests into hotel loyalty programs.
• Assist guests with information about services, amenities, local attractions, and transportation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Maintain front desk records, shift reports, and guest information.
