Job summary

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, 0–1 years.
• Ability to prepare moderately complex written materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate office software and standard equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receives, greets and provides needed information and assistance to all visitors at Welcome Desks.
• Provides information such as way finding, general hospital information, escorts, transporting equipment, and problem solving.
• Answers questions and directs guests to appropriate area.
• Distributes handouts, maps, accommodations, restaurants, and activity schedules.
• Performs general clerical duties and supports mail, inventory, and token distribution for events.
• Answers and receives incoming calls; assists insurers with patient status information.
• Stays current with hospital and campus information to assist customers.
• Uses computer systems to enter and retrieve information accurately.
• Performs visitor screening and operates badge system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
