Job summary

At Cedar Point, Castaway Bay is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional service to guests during their stay. You will check guests in and out, answer questions in person and by phone, and manage charges while performing general office tasks.

Responsibilities include using the hotel Property Management System, interacting with guests of all ages, and creating memorable experiences that contribute to a FUN guest experience at Cedar Point’s Castaway Bay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and stoop, push cart weighing up to 50 lbs., and use cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out of Castaway Bay and answer any guest questions or concerns throughout their stay.
• Answer guest questions in person and on the phone.
• Collect and record all charges as well as perform general office procedures.
• Learn and utilize the hotel Property Management System.
• Make our guests happy by delivering amazing experiences and helping them create lifelong memories.
• Interact with different people of all ages and backgrounds.
