Job summary

Bethel Resort and Suites is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent for a part-time role in Bethel, ME. You will check guests in/out, handle reservations, and provide information about the hotel and local area to ensure a welcoming experience.

Responsibilities include managing bookings across channels, resolving payment discrepancies, and assisting guests with requests while maintaining hotel standards and teamwork with staff.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in a related position.
• Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location.
• Part Time up to 30 hours per week (AM/PM/evening).
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to learn new technology platforms.
• Ability to stand at front desk for long periods.
• Lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations.
• Communicate shift information to next shift and supervisor.
• Welcome guests, check in/out, issue keys, explain amenities.
• Take payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to guest issues and complaints promptly.
• Explain local attractions to guests.
• Coordinate with staff to meet hotel standards and guest requests.
• Keep workstation and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow training procedures and SOPs.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
