Job summary

On The River Inn is seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent to join our team in Woodstock, VT. This PM/AM rotating role delivers friendly, professional guest service and supports front desk operations.

You will greet guests, handle check-in/out, answer calls, manage reservations, and assist with emails. Previous hospitality experience is welcome but not required, and reliability and attention to detail are essential. Imprint Hospitality also oversees this property.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
• Comfortable using computers, including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems.
• Previous hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand and move throughout most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner
• Check guests in and out, ensuring: Accurate billing and payment processing
• Special requests are properly noted and fulfilled
• Guest information is recorded correctly
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest emails
• Make and confirm reservations
• Answer and assist with incoming phone calls
