Tharaldson Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent for a part-time role to welcome guests, check them in/out, and manage front desk communications. You will handle calls, notes, and guest requests while keeping the lobby inviting.

The position emphasizes professional service, confidentiality, and teamwork. Prior customer service is a plus; the company offers competitive pay, daily pay option, employee discounts, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Friendly, positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm when handling guest concerns.
• Ability to handle confidential guest information with integrity.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Check guests in and out and assign rooms.
• Answer phones, route calls, and accurately take guest messages.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
• Complete front desk paperwork, logs, and reports.
• Perform property walks and help maintain a clean, welcoming lobby and common areas.
• Assist with breakfast service and keep the area clean and stocked as needed.
• Provide wake-up calls and assist guests with special requests.
• Communicate important guest and property information to the team through the pass-on log.
• Support hotel sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
• Assist with laundry and other hotel operations as needed.
