Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Hospitality Specialist for its Barrier Island Station in Duck, NC. This role represents our first point of contact with guests, handling all stages of their stay from check-in to check-out and beyond.

The position requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends. A bilingual ability is a plus and helps support a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate front desk efficiently and courteously.
• Check guests in/out and post charges.
• Answer calls with proper etiquette and assist guests with questions.
• Provide local information on restaurants and attractions.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Process revenue and handle cash and card transactions daily.
• Prepare night audit and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Make reservations and manage room moves to ensure guest satisfaction.
