Job summary

Hampton by Hilton in Lino Lakes, MN is seeking a part-time Front Desk Associate to warmly welcome guests, check in and provide information about local attractions and hotel services.

You will handle payments, reservations, and guest requests with professionalism while maintaining privacy and a clean lobby. Shifts are every other Friday and Saturday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional, courteous service throughout their stay.
• Complete guest check-in accurately and efficiently.
• Verify guest identification, reservations, payment information, and room details.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records.
• Make, modify, and cancel reservations per hotel policies.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and service recovery professionally.
• Communicate with Maintenance and other departments regarding issues.
• Assign rooms based on reservations and availability.
• Explain policies, breakfast hours, Wi-Fi, parking, and services to guests.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
• Protect guest privacy and confidential information.
• Follow procedures for keys, lost and found items, and payments.
• Monitor lobby and front entrance for safety.
• Complete daily front-office paperwork and shift procedures.
• Assist with Hilton Honors inquiries and enrollment.
• Recognize and assist Hilton Honors members as needed.
• Ensure smooth handoffs and share important guest information.
• Follow appearance and conduct standards.
