Job summary

Lodgco Hospitality is seeking a Guest Service Agent for the Hyatt Place Sarasota - Bradenton Airport front desk team. You will warmly greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, assist with requests, and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience.

The role emphasizes guest service, knowledge of local attractions, and collaboration in a fast-paced hotel setting. A satisfactory background screening is required; hotel or customer service experience is preferred. Hours are variable.

Qualifications

• Hotel or customer service experience is preferred.
• Satisfactory criminal background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Perform guest registrations (check ins & check outs), room assignments, and special requests
• Understand daily hotel operations, policies, procedures, and internal rules
• Know brand operating systems and loyalty programs
• Familiar with rooms, locations, amenities, and services offered
• Know room rates, packages, discounts, and promotions
• Handle checkout procedures and late charges
• Process cash handling and banking procedures
• Answer phones, handle mail, and take messages
• Assist guests with problems and questions and resolve issues
• Be knowledgeable about the city and local attractions
• Maintain cleanliness of front desk and common areas when time allows
• Know all emergency procedures and actions to take
