Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome customers, guide them to services, promote programs, and support front-end operations.

You will greet guests with a smile, maintain a positive appearance according to dress code, assist with events and promotions, and help ensure a safe, tidy store environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma, prior customer service experience, good verbal and written communication, and the stamina to stand and assist customers during peak times.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Promotes programs including CLUB Membership (US only), VOC and In-Store Pickup.
• Models brand standard for customer service by adhering to dress code with a green Bass Pro Shops or tan Cabela’s shirt, name badge visible, appropriate apparel/footwear, a smile and welcoming body language.
• Checks in all customers’ merchandise for return.
• Checks in all Vendor representatives, completing visitor log information and visitor badges.
• Remains aware of all “Special events” in the store and informs customers of details of events, sales, or promotions, and provides promotional materials.
• Ensures entryway and surrounding work area remain clean, tidy, and safe for customers and Outfitters.
• Assists facilitation of customer check-in of all firearms/weapons by notifying appropriate trained Outfitters; greeters should not handle firearms.
• All other duties as assigned.
