Job summary

The Westin Cincinnati, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is searching for a front desk professional to assist guests from arrival to departure. You will handle registration, guest inquiries, and payments while delivering a warm, high-quality experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing check-ins/outs, and resolving issues with professionalism. The role supports brand programs and a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Proficient with calculators for numerical tasks.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office.
• Ability to input and retrieve information using a computer system.
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly, sincere welcome and provide information on hours and local attractions.
• Complete registration by inputting data, confirming guests and room rate, and promoting brand programs.
• Code electronic keys and provide welcome folders with keys and coupons.
• Verify and imprint credit cards, handle cash, and balance the house bank.
• Post charges to guest rooms and process payments.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Close accounts at checkout and resolve guest issues, including price or room concerns.
• Resolve guest complaints through research and negotiation to satisfactory outcomes.
