Sonesta International Hotels is hiring a Guest Service Agent in North Carolina to greet guests, check them in and out, and deliver personalized hospitality. You’ll collaborate with front desk, housekeeping, engineering, and F&B teams to ensure memorable stays and smooth hotel operations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multitasking, and a service-driven mindset, with a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences and upselling opportunities where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel/front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills with a professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Experience using PMS and POS systems and handling cash transactions.
• Attention to detail, organized, and problem-solving mindset.
• Positive, collaborative, service-focused approach.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional service during check-in and check-out.
• Assist with reservations, room assignments, billing inquiries, and requests.
• Process transactions and manage cash using PMS and POS systems.
• respond promptly to guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of amenities, local attractions and loyalty programs.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, and leadership for operations.
• Support room inventory, upselling opportunities, and interdepartmental communication.
• Ensure Front Desk and lobby areas are clean and presentable.
• Follow procedures and safety guidelines and assist VIP or group arrivals as needed.
