Job summary

Cedar Creek Lodge in Columbia Falls, Montana, is hiring a Front Desk Agent to deliver outstanding service from check-in to check-out, handle reservations, and provide local information. The position is full-time, year-round with a typical 40-hour schedule and weekend/evening/holiday shifts. Housing is not available.

The role requires strong communication, a friendly demeanor, and basic computer/PMS skills to manage guest experiences and transactions efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must speak/read/write English.
• General computer skills; knowledge of common office machines.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS preferred.
• Basic sales and accounting skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
• Team-oriented with friendly demeanor.
• Knowledege of Glacier National Park area helpful.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Answer questions and provide local area information.
• Handle guest problems to achieve satisfaction.
• Educate guests on environmental policies.
• Register guests, assign rooms, and issue keys.
• Make, confirm, and cancel reservations.
• Process payments and balance receipts at end of shift.
• Answer phones and relay messages.
• Coordinate wake-up calls and guest mail.
• Post charges to guest accounts and reconcile transactions.
• Follow PCI guidelines.
• Assist with retail sales and lost-and-found procedures.
