Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Front Desk Agent who will greet guests, register arrivals, and deliver outstanding service throughout their stay. You will handle check-ins/check-outs with a friendly, efficient approach and support the Front Office Manager to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires fluent English, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven guest service experience in hospitality or related field.
• Ability to greet guests professionally and manage registrations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk operations under the Front Office Manager.
• Greet guests and complete check-ins/check-outs in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services and hours of operation.
• Maintain knowledge of rates, packages, events and local attractions.
• Operate front desk computer system and manage mail/packages.
• Assist in training new hires and handle escalated guest issues.
• Support in emergency procedures and budget adherence.
