Job summary

New York Sports Club in Washington, DC is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to create a welcoming, safe environment for members and guests while supporting club leadership with retention and daily operations.

You will lead the SSR team, deliver exceptional service, manage opening/closing tasks, and ensure accurate billing and member transactions. This full-time role requires 2–3 years of face-to-face customer service and at least 1 year supervising staff, plus AED/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of face-to-face customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a fitness, hospitality, or retail environment.
• AED/CPR certification for Child & Adult.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, safe environment for members and guests.
• Support GM/AGM with member retention, cancellation savings, and accounts receivable collections.
• Lead, inspire cooperation, and influence behavior among SSR team.
• Check in members and manage tasks using club systems (online accounts, password resets, etc.).
• Maintain clean Welcome Desk and promote a friendly customer experience.
