Job summary

The Historic Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection in Spokane, WA is seeking a Front Desk Manager to lead the front desk team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact, you will create a welcoming atmosphere and drive seamless check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest relations.

Requirements include two years of front office management experience, cash handling, English fluency, and proficiency with Opera PMS, Micros, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines.
• Time management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently.
• Ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction.
• Prior cash handling experience necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Computer experience required. Proficient in Opera PMS, Micros, Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily front desk operations for efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Train, mentor, and motivate front desk staff to deliver outstanding service.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor check-in/check-out processes and reservation management.
• Enforce hotel policies to ensure compliance and guest satisfaction.
• Manage room inventory and maximize revenue through effective strategies.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
