Job summary

Montpelier Arts Center, part of the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission, seeks a responsive team member for the customer service desk. Duties include opening/closing, greeting patrons, answering phones, assisting resident artists, and handling front desk sales.

Open seven days with day and evening shifts. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and operate basic sales software. Experience in the visual arts or marketing is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn sales software.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patrons at Montpelier Arts Center.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage front desk operations.
• Sell tickets and register classes, balance cash at close.
• Set up equipment for classes and events.
