Job summary

Stevens Point Auto Center is seeking a receptionist to cover the front desk for both scheduled and unscheduled absences. This individual will greet customers as they enter the showroom, as well as answer phone calls and be responsible for some other daily office tasks.

We may require flexibility with scheduling and Saturdays if needed. The position offers weekly pay at $20 per hour, and the company emphasizes that happy employees contribute to outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office suite preferred.
• Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs and requests to management and sales personnel.
• Professional personal appearance required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct customers to proper department; follow up promptly.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate person for resolution.
• Operate switchboard telephone system.
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner; minimize hold time.
• Assist managers with clerical duties as needed.
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient with all customers and employees.
• Familiarize yourself with department structures and internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently.
