Job summary

Stevens Point Auto Center is seeking a receptionist to cover the front desk for scheduled and unscheduled absences due to sickness, vacations, etc. This individual will greet customers as they enter the showroom, as well as answer phone calls and be responsible for some other daily office tasks.

We are looking for someone who can be flexible with scheduling and willing to work Saturdays, if needed. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Ability to communicate customers' interests and requests to management and sales.
• Professional personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
• Operate switchboard telephone system
• Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize hold time
• Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
• Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
• Familiarize yourself with department structures & internal procedures for assisting customers efficiently
