Job summary

Talentify in Seaford, Delaware, is seeking a friendly receptionist for our nursing center. You will be the first point of contact for patients, residents, families, and visitors, delivering professional, warm service and helping maintain a calm and organized reception area.

Key duties include answering calls professionally and redirecting as needed, greeting people, handling mail, updating patient/resident lists by name and room, and ordering supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.
• Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls professionally and courteously and redirect them appropriately.
• Warmly welcome, greet and direct patients, visitors, and guests.
• Coordinate outgoing and incoming mail.
• Maintain current lists of patients/residents by name/room number and employees by names/phone extension.
• Order supplies and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
