We're seeking a Front Desk Coordinator II to join our growing team.

How You'll Make Us Better
  • Greets and receives customers, determines the nature of their visit, and notifies the appropriate team member(s).
  • Performs various administrative duties.
Responsibilities
  • Welcomes visitors and provides information about clinic features.
  • Answers, screens, and routes incoming calls; takes messages as needed.
  • Checks-in and collects information from patients on their first visit.
  • Notifies clinicians of patient arrival and readiness.
  • Makes appointments for returning patients as necessary.
  • Prints/reprints appointment reminders and school/work excuses.
  • Verifies insurance information, investigates issues, and works towards resolution.
  • Makes changes to the patient schedule as necessary.
  • Coordinates payment arrangements and/or account resolution, presents contracts to patients.
  • Receives, stores, and delivers shipments and mail.
  • Takes payments and posts to accounts.
  • Updates charts and patient information.
  • Drives internal marketing initiatives and fosters participation from everyone.
  • Encourages and presents patients with non-clinical ways to utilize the Smile Doctors Anywhere application to support their experience.
  • Communicates office supply requirements to the Practice Director for monthly orders.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with patients and coworkers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and understand verbal and written information.
Prerequisites for Success
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six (6) months of experience as a Smile Doctors Front Desk Coordinator I.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
