Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Front Desk Associate to greet members, manage appointments, and direct callers. You will be the first point of contact in the Main Front Lobby and Emergency Department, delivering hospitality and concierge services.

This role requires a high school diploma, excellent communication, and a calm, courteous demeanor under pressure. You will collaborate with a team to support patient flow and ensure a welcoming experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ relevant experience, preferably in hospital or hospitality industry.
• Computer skills required.
• Excellent customer service and rapport building.
• Strong communication and judgment under pressure.

• Follows safety training and Hospital Exposure Control Plans for bloodborne and airborne pathogens.

Job Description:

• Welcomes and greets members, patients, and guests in a courteous and friendly manner.

• Enhances the experience for patients, families, and visitors by providing hospitality and concierge services.
• Acts as the initial greeter for all patients and visitors entering the Main Front Lobby and Emergency Department. Interacts with patients, families, visitors, and VIPs, providing necessary information and assistance.
• Replenishes reading material in waiting rooms and conducts periodic rounds to check on people in these areas.
• Performs work of equal skill and responsibility as directed, including tasks of higher or lower responsibility as needed.
• Attends all required safety training programs and understands responsibilities related to general and job-specific safety.
• Is this covered on all employes as a requirement? Follows the Hospital Exposure Control Plans for Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens.
• Other duties as assigned.
