Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable.
• Sufficient calculator skills to perform moderately complex calculations without error.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and provide consistently prompt, responsive and courteous service.
• Provide guests with welcome folders containing room keys, certificates, coupons, and refreshment center keys as appropriate.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, make change and balance the assigned house bank.
• Post charges to guest room and House accounts using the computer.
• Close guest accounts at check-out and assess guest satisfaction.
• Respond to and address guest complaints and concerns.
• Escort guests to their rooms with guest service personnel as needed.
• Provide safety deposit boxes for guests and assist with deposit box access.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
