Job summary

Marathon Health is a leading primary care provider partnering with employers to improve health outcomes. We are hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to support a primary care physician and deliver excellent patient care and a positive guest experience.

The role combines clinical responsibilities with front-d desk duties to ensure smooth flow of the patient journey. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, graduation from an MA program, CPR/BLS certification,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred and required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform basic procedures, and assist with tests and tests coordination.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, and referrals coordination.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments.
