Job summary

Jobot in Tampa, FL is seeking a professional Front Desk Clerk to join our on-site office. You will welcome clients, manage the reception area, answer calls, and coordinate mail and meetings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year of front desk or administrative experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Prior law firm exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year of receptionist, customer service, administrative, or office support experience.
  • Prior law firm or professional services experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Job Details

We are seeking a professional, organized, and client-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our Tampa office. This individual serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, attorneys, and staff and plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls.

  • Manage reception area and conference room scheduling.

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and shipments.

  • Assist with file management, scanning, copying, and document organization.

  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate inventory replenishment.

  • Prepare meeting rooms for client meetings and internal events.

  • Process incoming electronic and physical documents.

  • Assist attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff with clerical and administrative projects.

  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Support office operations and special projects as assigned.
