Job summary

The Inn at SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, is hiring a Front Desk Attendant on a full-time basis. You will create an exceptional first impression and luxury experience for guests, handling check-in/check-out, payments, and guest inquiries.

We value a friendly, efficient, and professional demeanor, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. Availability to work nonstandard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with a friendly and efficient check-in.
• Verify guest information, room rate, and assign room.
• Offer information on hotel policies, services, and promotions.
• Process payments and post charges; balance transactions.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance on room counts and issues.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will provide exceptional service to all guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. As our Full-time Front Desk Attendant, we’ll count on you to create an exceptional first impression and luxury experience for all our guests

What You’ll Do As a Front Desk Attendant, you will: Provide guests with a friendly and efficient check-in confirming guest information, verifying room rate, selecting room, coding electronic keys, providing welcome packet, and providing directions to room. Provide detailed and accurate information in person or over the phone regarding hotel policies, services, amenities, and special promotions. Assist guests with check-out ensuring room and services are correctly accounted and process payments and post charges to guest accounts. Balance all cash, credit card, and check transactions at the end of each shift. Respond promptly to guest concerns or complaints and communicate outstanding issues that require additional monitoring or follow-up to management in a timely manner. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room counts, room status, maintenance issues, and special requests.

What It Takes

Age requirement of 21+ required High School Diploma or equivalent work experience At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred Positive and upbeat personality Strong communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills Ability to work nonstandard hours including nights, weekends and holidays
