Job summary

Inn at SentryWorld is seeking a friendly Door Attendant to welcome guests and assist with opening doors and luggage transport at The Inn at SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

You will escort guests to accommodations, promote on-site amenities, and respond to questions with local knowledge. The role requires 18+, a high school diploma, customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work nights/weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.

At the Inn at SentryWorld, we focus on the guest experience. As the Door Attendant, you'll be the first person our guests meet. With a welcoming demeanor, you'll welcome and escort our guests and help transport their luggage to and from their accommodations

What You'll Do

• Gre et and open doors for guests upon their arrival to The Inn at SentryWorld.
• Transport guest's luggage to and from their vehicles, rooms, and bell attendant station upon arrival/departure.
• Promote SentryWorld amenities to help ensure a positive guest experience.
• Maintains working knowledge of Sentry Services facilities and hours of operation, as well as local information to respond to guest questions

What it Takes

• Age requirement of 18+ required
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge of local areas and roads
