The Front Desk Receptionist supports daily Club operations by assisting with member inquiries, coordinating reservations, managing communications, providing information on Club programs and events, and performing administrative duties to ensure efficient and professional service. This position plays a key role in enhancing the overall member and guest experience while upholding the Club's standards of hospitality and professionalism.This position is currently structured as a part-time role. However, for the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for the position to transition to a full-time role based on business needs and performance.Standard RequirementsAdheres to Club policy and proceduresActs as a role model within and outside the ClubMaintains a positive and respectful attitudeCommunicates regularly with supervisor about department issuesDemonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workloadConsistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of positionMaintains confidentiality of all dataMeets department productivity standardsAvailable to work the following schedule:Tuesday - Friday from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PMSaturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PMEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet members and guests with a pleasant smile and warm welcome.Operate the switchboard, including managing incoming, outgoing, and operator-assisted calls; take and relay messages to staff and members as needed.Create digital signs for meetings, events, and other Club activities.Assist with recording member reservations for regular dining when the Host Stand is unavailable.Coordinate with the Events Team to assist members with reservations for Club events and special functions, ensuring they receive all pertinent reservation information and updates.Handle member inquiries, requests, and concerns at the reception desk in a professional and courteous manner.Maintain and organize all lost and found items.Sort and distribute incoming mail.Perform general office duties, including word processing, copying, scanning, and operating office equipment.Stay informed on Club events, programs, and activities by reviewing the monthly Woodmonter to effectively answer member questions.Provide schedules and other Club information to members, guests, and staff.Assist with special projects and additional duties assigned.Prepare and distribute the Daily Activities Report ("Dailies") to all employees via email each day.Woodmont Country Club is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.Education and Work Experience QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Proficiency in Canva.Position requires professional appearance and telephone manner, high level of interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy.Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.
