Job summary

Pierce County Parks and Recreation is seeking a friendly Front Desk staff member for Sprinker Recreation Center. You will deliver excellent customer service, assist with program registrations, handle cash and payments, and support shelter and field rentals.

Shifts run between 6:45 am and 10 pm, Monday through Sunday, for temporary roles up to five months. Some positions may be up to 40 hours per week, while others provide part-time coverage for lighter monthly hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and providing assistance via email, phone, and in person.
• Assisting with program registrations and park shelter/field rentals.
• Operate point of sale system and accurately process payments.
• Manage multi-line phone system and help ensure facility security.
• Work with little or no supervision in a self-motivated manner.
