Job summary

Rapid Creek Ranch in Owensboro, KY is seeking Front Desk Associates to greet and register guests, provide outstanding service, and settle guests' accounts at checkout.

You will maintain cash drawers, assist with reservations, post charges, answer inquiries about local services, and keep a neat, organized front desk and work area. This role requires courtesy, accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate front desk cash drawers, room sales, and accurate folio transactions
• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
• Issue room key and escort instructions
• Transmit telephone messages
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, local shopping, dining, and entertainment
• Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests
• Make and confirm reservations
• Post charges such as room, sundry items, fax, copy or telephone
• Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations, and arrange for tours
• Deposit guests' valuables in safe deposit box
• Answer telephone calls promptly and politely in accordance with hotel policies
• Restock coffee station as needed
• Restock work area - maintain neat and organized work area
• Deliver supplies to guests as needed
