Job description

Job Title : FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE

Client Relations: As the initial point of contact, you will cultivate professional relationships with clients and visitors. This involves mastering effective communication techniques, proficiently managing appointment scheduling via our scheduling software, and providing exceptional client service by addressing inquiries and offering information about our services. You will also contribute to the smooth operation of our office by maintaining organized client files and a professional reception area.

Tax Preparation: You will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and compliant federal and state tax returns for individual and business clients. This includes mastering tax preparation software, understanding relevant tax forms (1040, 1120, 1065, etc.), and adhering to IRS regulations. Client interaction will involve gathering necessary documentation and clarifying financial details to ensure the accuracy of tax filings. Furthermore, you will develop a strong understanding of current tax laws and regulations.

Bookkeeping: Your bookkeeping responsibilities involve maintaining precise financial records for both our clients and the firm. You will gain proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.), learning to manage financial transactions, balance accounts, and generate financial statements. This includes mastering general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports to provide clients with clear insights into their financial position and potential areas for improvement.

Marketing: You will contribute to the growth of Carter Financial Services by supporting our marketing efforts. This includes developing skills in digital marketing (online advertising, social media management, SEO), creating engaging content for various platforms (blogs, newsletters, social media), and contributing to brand development and market analysis. Your contributions will be instrumental in enhancing our brand recognition and attracting new clients.
