Job summary

SafeSplash Alexandria is seeking a Front Desk Associate to warmly greet clients, manage accounts and payments, and assist with class scheduling. You will support retail sales, donations, and event activities, while maintaining clear client communications in the lobby area.

The role emphasizes a friendly, professional demeanor, strong customer service, and flexibility for some evenings and weekends. Join us at SafeSplash Alexandria (Kingstowne).

Qualifications

• Happy and professional disposition; hospitable and caring.
• Exceptional customer service focus, able to handle escalations.
• Experience using spreadsheets and word processing software such as Microsoft Suite.
• Dependable and flexible schedule, some evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: swim lesson knowledge and CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and visitors, welcome and direct them appropriately.
• Maintain client accounts, record information, process payments, schedule classes.
• Assist with retail sales and product information.
• Prepare and track donations to non-profit organizations.
• Schedule and promote events, keep lobby communications updated.

What will you do as a Front Desk Associate?

• Assist clients and visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
• Maintains client accounts by recording accurate and up-to-date information, take client payment when necessary; scheduling classes and appointments
• Assists clients with retail merchandise; is knowledgeable of all retail products and information; manages retail sales
• Prepares and tracks donations to non-profit organizations
• Schedules, promotes and participates in special events, and keeps all client communications updated, and visibly posted in public areas of lobby.
