The Front Office Assistant will support the clinic's operations by managing the patient lobby professionally and efficiently, ensuring smooth interactions between the doctor, staff, and patients. Responsibilities include answering and handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing check-in/out processes, discussing treatment and financial arrangements, handling insurance billing to ensure timely claims processing and maximum reimbursement, among other duties as assigned.
Applicants must possess strong organizational and management skills, experience with Dentrix, handling dental office finances, full insurance billing (including claims submission, appeals, and denial management), and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate can work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
