Qualifications

• Preferred 6 months of work experience that demonstrates knowledge of basic principles, concepts, standards, and regulations related to hospitality operations.
• Must be skilled in the use of a personal computer and various software programs.
• Must possess basic math and reading skills.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security and privacy of guests at all times.
• Provide a welcoming, professional guest service and handle questions.
• Use the Property Management System (PMS) to access guest information, retrieve reservations, modify bookings, or register guests.
• Register guests and assign rooms, issue keys/cards, and handle payments as necessary.
• Process payments and deposits; deposit cash receipts at end of shift.
• Maintain front desk inventory and lobby area; keep it clean and neat.
• Run PMS reports (e.g., Expected Arrivals, Night Audit) and occupancy reports.
• Retrieve Lost and Found items and contact guests about them.
