Job summary

Cedar Point is seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide outstanding service to guests staying at Sawmill Creek. You will greet guests, assist with check-in/check-out, process payments, and sell tickets and add-ons while using the Opera property management system.

The role includes perks such as free uniforms, free admission to Cedar Point and other properties, and discounts on food and merchandise. Must be 18+ and available for varied shifts.

• Ability to learn and operate Opera hotel PMS.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and handle ticket sales.
• Provide exceptional guest service per Cedar Fair standards.

Overview:

$16.00/hour

Ages 18+

Responsibilities:

• Ability to maintain guest information, including credit card information, in a secure and confidential manner.
• Ability to check guests into and out of the hotel, sell tickets, and answer guest questions.
• Ability to solve guest related concerns in a positive and professional manner.
  Maintain open communication with other shifts and the Front Office Manager.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety Guidelines.
• Meet Cedar Fair's attendance requirements.
  Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Charismatic attitude
• Ability to learn and use the hotel Property Management System (Opera)
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Comany Policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older
