GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is hiring a part-time Server/Bartender for Bethel Resort and Suites in Bethel, ME. You will provide friendly, customer service oriented service, take orders, and ensure guests have a memorable experience in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities, and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time employment experience in a related position (bartender, server).
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while on your feet for 4-8 hours.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take food/drink orders.
• Verify ID and age requirements.
• Basic cash handling: operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, total bank drops.
• Make menu and service recommendations and answer questions.
• Greet guests and deliver a memorable experience.
• Clear, clean and sanitize tables.
• Complete side-work before and after shifts.
• Help guests with special requests/allergy information.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean and organized.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
