Job Title: Part-Time Front Desk Agent

Comfort Suites Loveland is a popular hotel dedicated to providing exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team and create a positive first impression for our visitors.

Position Summary:

As a front desk associate, you would be responsible for aiding the hotel's continued effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process to include, but not limited to, inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting discounts, and ensuring guests know the location of the room.
  • Assist guests with check-out, including, but not limited to, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for, using the point-of-sale system, processing credit and debit cards, and accepting and recording various forms of payment.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area, and other general product knowledge.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests and resolve issues promptly, friendly, and efficiently.
  • Field guest complaints with a professional and positive demeanor, research, resolve, and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction. Have excellent verbal and written skills to file incident reports.
  • Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests through phone and online communication programs.
  • Assist managers with reasonable requests.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with hotel management software is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. _
- A friendly and positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service._

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift up to 15 lbs.
