Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver courteous front desk service and enhance the guest experience. You will handle check-ins, payments, and guest inquiries while promoting hotel and casino amenities to ensure a memorable stay.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months in front desk or hotel operations, and strong communication skills. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods in a busy lobby environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Front Desk/Hotel Operations experience preferred (6 months).
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-relations skills to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Registers arriving guests by completing appropriate paperwork and obtaining payment information.
  • Settles account balances of departing guests by accepting payment and handling cash drawer.
  • Investigates and resolves general billing discrepancies.
  • Engages guests in property promotions and amenities to enhance their stay.
  • Responds to guest inquiries concerning entertainment or attractions and provides general information.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Anticipates guests’ needs and responds to requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitors work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are achieved and customer requests are addressed.
