Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is seeking a Room Attendant to ensure clean and welcoming guest rooms in our hotel tower. You will use cleaning agents and equipment following policy, replace linens, and prepare rooms for guest arrivals, while maintaining a tidy cart and inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of experience preferred, basic math skills, and the ability to work weekends in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Requires basic English communication with guests and team members.
• Demonstrates attention to detail in cleaning duties.
• Performs basic math for inventory and tasks.
• Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to department standards.
• Replace linens, replenish amenities, and organize room supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and properly maneuver cleaning equipment.
• Provide courteous guest interactions and report maintenance needs as needed.

There may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Employee will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
