Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit courteous hospitality at all times to guests and associates.
  • Proactively offer additional services and inform guests of hotel facilities and local attractions.
  • Administer hotel guest payment policies.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Post all charges, including valet and miscellaneous charges, to guest accounts.
  • Maintain hotel key security system and oversee safe deposit boxes for guests.
  • Verify credit cards and reconcile bank transactions at the end of shifts.
  • Run and verify availability reports at shift start, updating as necessary.
  • Review communication logs at shift start.
  • Follow hotel emergency procedures in case of emergencies.
  • Notify supervisors of any room issues promptly.
  • Ensure check-in and check-out processes are efficient.
  • Operate hotel phone system for transferring calls and voicemail.
  • Promptly distribute and notify guests of mail.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous hotel-related experience preferred.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently during shifts.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
