Job summary

TownePlace Suites Portland Hillsboro is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests and assist them throughout their stay. You will manage check-in/check-out, address inquiries, and coordinate with other departments to fulfill requests, creating memorable guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, basic tech ability, and the stamina to stand for shifts while occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in a guest-facing role is ideal.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure friendly, efficient and error-free check-in and check-out.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Answer questions about local area and facilities and provide directions.
• Demonstrate proper phone etiquette including taking messages and making reservations.
• Follow cash handling procedures and post/reconcile charges to guest receipts.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
