Job summary

Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Rosslyn is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, answer inquiries, and coordinate with hotel teams to ensure a seamless stay.

The position requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth within the hotel family.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Flexibility to work AM/PM shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out according to hotel standards.
• Provide local information and assist guests with inquiries and requests.
• Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
• Operate the hotel phone system and manage messages.
• Process payments and post charges to guest accounts.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for reported issues.
• Maintain front office cleanliness and organization.
• Adhere to hotel policies and security procedures.
• Support other departments as needed.
