Job summary

Hotel Retlaw Fond du Lac is seeking a Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, check them in and out, and handle reservations with accuracy. This full-time role in Fond du Lac, WI requires friendly, professional service and the ability to manage guest inquiries and payments efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, experience with major hotel brands, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities; General knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
• Register guests into the computer, verify reservations and payment details.
• Handle payments at check-in and check-out; manage cash and deposits.
• Promote hotel programs and assist with guest requests.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide local area information.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and facilities.
