Compensation: USD $16.35 - $22.00 per hour
Type: Hourly

Overview:
The Front Office Agent is responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

  • Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
  • Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
  • Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions as listed in the Red Book.
  • Be familiar with all in-house groups and restricted dates.
  • Obtain necessary information when taking reservations and follow rate-quoting procedures.
  • Be familiar with hospitality terminology and emergency procedures.
  • Handle check-ins and checkouts courteously and efficiently.
  • Use proper radio etiquette when communicating with staff.
  • Operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
  • Complete shift duties timely and accurately, including reports and paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean work area and promote guest programs and promotions.
  • Assist guests with safe deposit boxes.

Qualifications:
College coursework in related fields helpful; high school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in hospitality preferred. Must have computer skills and excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate initiative. Maintain professional appearance and adhere to hotel standards. Cross-training and problem-solving skills are a plus. Must be attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented.
