Description

Job Overview: 3pm-11:30pm (Shift subject to change based on business needs). Hotel Front Desk Agents perform various tasks to make guests feel welcome, primarily registering guests to their hotel rooms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project a positive image and greet all guests.
  • Perform hotel check-in and check-out transactions.
  • Enroll guests in the player's club and generate rewards cards upon demand.
  • Disseminate information regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks such as cash handling, check authorizations, faxing, copying.
  • Maintain cash drawer, deposit cash as required, and submit supporting documentation.
  • Assist in ensuring qualified players receive priority service in Games and F&B.
  • Answer telephones and route calls as necessary.
  • Assist with Concierge duties as needed.
  • Actively resolve guest issues and disputes.
  • Report guestroom issues to Maintenance.
  • Re-stock Front Desk supplies.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: (Please ensure you meet these before applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required; enrolled and successfully completing a GED within six months may be considered.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years or older.
  • Ability to type at least 20 words per minute; a typing test will be administered.
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills; skills test will be administered.
  • Experience in customer service required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Must pass a job interview and guest service audition.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Willing to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment.
